The Design Process
First, we ask a lot of questions...
-
Discuss a general vision for your website
What do you see your 1. Prospects 2. Customers 3. Administration and Back-end users doing? In otherwords, in your mind, what does a successful website look like? -
Identify key areas to the website
i.e. Front-end for Prospects, Intranet for customers and clients, customer retention plans and processes, Back end admin. (This one will take the longest)
-
Identify which areas of your current site configuration are working as desired
We don't want to reinvent the wheel. -
Identify and document the specific roadblocks
What's not working and why. -
Discuss solutions and predict outcome
You are the expert for your business. Think of any solution ideas that may overcome roadblocks. Any ideas are welcome. But some solutions may be cost-prohibitive. -
Discuss alternative solutions
It's always good to have a contingency plan. If an initial plan proves cost prohibitive, we will discuss alternative possibilities.
Gut Check
We may do this throughout our meeting so MP e-Commerce can come up with more tangible concrete solutions.
